Yesss! It had several shoe stores, and the little professor book store, and a NICE fabric store, and I remember taking my now-30 year old son there and he loved walking over the little wooden bridge in the middle. Good times. Swensens Ice Cream (with swiss orange chip or caramel turtle fudge)- he and I would go there every other week on pay day to celebrate.
Oh, Oh, ME! My first "real" job was at the fabric store (that I can't remember the name of at the moment) at the Riverside Plaza. On breaks, I would get a soft pretzel or go shop at Miller's Outpost.
I used to love seeing the band perform in the patio by Little Professor. The highlight was when all the members dressed up as Star Wars characters, including a very ominous Darth Vader.

I do, I do. That was the best place. It always trumped over the old Tyler Mall. We were so sad to see it slide into obscurity.

House of Fabrics. It just came to me - the fabric store was House of Fabrics.
